His community conversations are something that I haven’t seen with other council members and should probably be emulated. He encouraged me to join the Town Planning Commission in 2013, and my work continues today as Chairman of the Town of Hilton Head Gullah Geechee Land & Cultural Preservation Task Force, a subcommittee of the Planning Commission.
